A warm and driven performer with experience in theatre and singing. I love bringing stories to life and giving characters a human, recognizable layer. Through my background in healthcare and social work, I have developed a strong sense for people, emotions and underlying tensions. I bring that into my acting: honest, sensitive, present and with attention to nuance. I have theatre experience, a strong stage presence and classical vocal training from the conservatory. I also have a natural sense of comic timing and physical expression, often finding humour in subtle reactions, silence and the things left unsaid. I am eager to learn, reliable and willing to fully commit to a role. I am especially drawn to characters with warmth, strength, vulnerability or inner conflict. Roles where something is simmering beneath the surface strongly appeal to me.
